LOST INNER LIGHT

I am walking home
This walk is in the dark
I need to find some light
To brighten the night inside

I seek knowledge
to light a fire for my soul
For if the inside is dark
Of what use is light of day?

My God light my inside
For night and day will come
But of what use are they if I am lost in the inside?

My God; light my inside
So I can see my way home in my inside
For if I am lost outside
I can make a home
But lost inside
It is terrible
