EQUAL HERE AND AFTER

I am just human

My want is to breathe air

Once more and one more time

Once more again

Again and again

My desire is to dream

Dream and live my dream

Dream and be a dream

I am an entity caught between time and eternity

Confined by opinions on what colour has to do with the mind

I am a life tied to a definition by stereotypes

I am a being defined less than human

I know it is greed

A sense of entitlement that despises

If everyone could just be a life

If everyone could focus on their dreams

If everyone could focus on the life they could live and let mine be

If everyone could just step on their own piece of earth proudly

And let mine be

If everyone could just focus on their contribution to improving the human condition

And let me look at my own

But I am just a man

Living in a world where people could look at your skin

At your sex

And think you less

I live in a world where you and me have to fight

Where free spirits don't just fit

Where democracy is a long way

Where the poor have no voice

And the rich are slaves to mamon

It is crazy

We live, love,long

Long for a better world

Long for a world where we are equal in life as we will be after

MEANING

If you sing songs And your songs are sung Would they have a meaning? If you danced And your dances are danced Would they have a meaning? If you lived well And your life is lived Would it have a meaning? Would it have a meaning if it goes with the wind? Would it have a meaning if your marks on earth were erased? OVERSTAYED VISIT
